Remember in 2006 when Bucs' QB Chris Simms got hit so hard it ruptured his spleen and threatened his life? Well, Simms didn't get to play last season because of Jeff Garcia's emergence on the depth chart, with Simms currently sitting at number five on that chart. And so he wants the Bucs to trade or release him, but the Bucs are reluctant. Still, the Tampa Tribune is practically begging the Bucs to do so. And reportedly, Dallas, Detroit and Chicago are all interested.
Here's an interesting thought....the Dolphins have not been mentioned, but they are a team that has a question mark at the QB position. And guess who runs the Dolphins now? None other than Bill Parcells, who seemed to coach magic out of Simms' dad, Phil a little over twenty years ago. Hmmm.
